Braised Short Ribs

Short Ribs

So this is the new recipe. It is from this month's Bon Appetit but being Minjenah, I could not follow it directly.

Things I did differently,

1) I browned all the short ribs to get a good sear on them.
2) I cooked the onion and garlic in the beef fat after I browned the beef.
3) I omitted the mushrooms because I did not have any.

This recipe is very very fatty. What I am doing is actually putting this in the fridge tonight so the fat layer can be scooped out in the morning. Besides, braised dishes always taste better the next day.
