Sharp Knives

I recently got my knives professionally sharpened because if you are entering a time where you will be doing a lot of cooking, don't you want sharp knives?

One downside to sharp knives is when you nick yourself, it does not hurt but BOY does it bleed. I sliced where my thumbnail and thumb meet. It bled like crazy.

Do you sharpen your knives?
