Naeng Myun

We interrupt Garden Week to show you the yummy dinner I had tonight. My mother made this for me because I cannot be trusted to make it. Actually, I have made it from a mix and my mother's is SO MUCH BETTER. Yohboh had this and said, "Your mother's cooking is the shit."

This is Mool Naeng Myun. It is a cold buckwheat noodle bowl in a beef broth with radish kimchi, beef, cucumbers, a soft boiled egg, sharp vinegar and mustard oil. It is wonderfully cooling. I don't think I can be friends with someone who does not like this.
