Grilled Pizza

Yohboh was reluctant to make grilled pizzas even though we have done it before.

So on a recent Saturday we did.

The reason I was interested in the Kamado Joe for pizza is this: 009
That says almost 700 degrees. You cannot get an oven this hot.

Here is yohboh charring the crust, which is delicious!

These are not pizzas loaded with toppings. It is more about the balance of crust, sauce and cheese.

Also the fresh basil on top really made it yummy.

I am really looking forward to putting an heirloom tomato on there!
