Cranberry Apple Casserole

This is a re-post since many people asked me for this recipe over the weekend. 

This recipe came from my late grandmother in law. I doubled it here. I love this because it is like a dessert in the middle of a meal.

Cranberry Apple Casserole
12 ounce bag of cranberries
3 granny smith apples, chopped into cranberry sized pieces
1 cup of white sugar

1 stick of butter melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup of flour
1 cup of rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat the oven at 350. Combine the first three ingredients in a buttered casserole.

Combine the next five ingredients and put on top of the cranberry mixture. Bake for about 45 minutes until it is bubbly and the topping is brown.

Can be served at room temperature.
